Favourite Mozz ’n’ Ham Croustades (Illustration)

These amazing croustades will kick off any wonderful meal

Mozz ’n’ Ham Croustades

  • 2 tbsp Lactantia salted butter, melted
  • 12 slices whole wheat bread, crust removed
  • 6 Black Diamond Light Mozzarella Slices, chopped
  • 1 cup lean ham slices, chopped
  • ¼ cup green onions, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup light mayonnaise
  1. Preheat oven to at 350°F.
  2. Brush a dozen 2½” muffin cups with some of the butter.
  3. Flatten each bread slice with rolling pin. Cut 3½” rounds from each slice. Press the bread rounds into the muffin cups; brush edges lightly with remaining butter.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, combine Black Diamond Light Mozzarella Slices, ham, onions, and mayonnaise. Spoon into bread cups.
  6. Bake for another 15-20 minutes.
  7. Serve warm.
