  1. Where can I find Black Diamond products?Black Diamond products can be found at most major retailers. If you are unable to find our products at your local retailer, please speak to the dairy manager to see if they can place an order for you.
  2. What's the best way to store Black Diamond cheese?If it comes in resealable packaging, be sure to seal properly before placing in the refrigerator. If it does not, wrap in plastic wrap and then place in a sealable bag, ensuring air has been removed before closing and placing in fridge. Ideal storage temperature is between 0-4 degrees celcius in the coldest part of your fridge and away from light (i.e. bottom or middle shelf). Be sure to store away from strong smelling foods as the odours can be absorbed by the cheese.
  3. How do I cook with Black Diamond cheese?There are many ways in which Black Diamond cheeses can be incorporated into recipes. From melted in to sprinkled on top, our recipe section has a number of ideas to help get you started.
  4. Are Black Diamond cheeses made with pasteurized milk?Yes, all Black Diamond cheese products are made with pasteurized milk.
  5. Where does the colouring in Black Diamond cheese come from?The colouring comes from all natural vegetable sources; from the annatto seed and/or beta carotene (juice from carrots). There are no artificial ingredients in our colouring.
  6. Is there any Rennet in Black Diamond Cheese Products?Most of our Black Diamond natural cheese products are made using microbial enzymes.  Some of our products might contain rennet derived from calves when rennet is listed on the ingredient declaration found on the packaging.
  7. Is it okay to eat cheese after the best before date?No, it is not okay to eat cheese after the best before date.
